A Professional Host is one which has multiple listings (ie. team, property manager or hotelier). In order to serve this diverse group we built a foundational tool set that adapts to support the various needs of our hosts. We reimagined the Inbox support not just Pro but all hosts across Airbnb. With a new compartmentalized designed and intelligent feature set like quick replies and automated messaging. Additionally we fully integrated Luxe, a once stand-alone property now seamlessly part of the Airbnb story.
Airbnb serves a wide range of Host profiles, each with their own unique needs. Among them, Pro Hosts are arguably the most complex, facing a wide array of operational challenges that require scalable, efficient solutions. Over the years, we built numerous features, tools, and systems to support this group—but the experience had become fragmented, bloated, and difficult to navigate.
As Senior Design Manager and DRI for Pro Hosts, I led a small but powerful team of designers, content strategists, and researchers. I built strong cross-functional partnerships and leveraged user data and Host research to define our product roadmap, align with key stakeholders, and drive strategic conversations—including at the executive level with our CEO.
Inbox Redesign : What started as a targeted solution for Professional Hosts evolved into a platform-wide upgrade that benefited every Host on Airbnb. The redesigned Inbox introduced a modular layout and smart tools—like quick replies and automated messaging—designed to streamline communication and improve operational efficiency at scale.

Airbnb Luxe Integration : Previously a standalone product, Airbnb Luxe was successfully integrated into the core platform. This not only expanded our high-end inventory but also delivered a more seamless and cohesive experience across all property types.
Host Insights : We introduced new tools that gave Hosts actionable insights into travel trends, forecasts, and comparable listings—helping them make data-driven decisions and become more successful on the platform.
